While writing during the day I enjoyed hearing the musical instruments -- though they were tucked away in another room, with a door buffering the sounds they created, I found myself appreciating the clatter of a tambourine, clack of wood against wood, the sound of bells -- these were powerful reminders of the need to pay attention and the richness of describing life in all its tumbling reality. I appreciated your invitation to the sensory stations, Susan, with your emphasis on our "embodied life." Thank you for this thoughtful reflection on the richness of the day.
